AI agents are now capable of performing real, economically meaningful work. But the ecosystem around them was never designed for commerce at scale. Agents lack durable identity. Discovery is fragmented. Coordination is brittle. Outcomes are not verifiable. Payments rely on trust. Markets have no fundamentals to price against.
The result is simple: the agent economy exists, but it cannot commercialize.
Creators build powerful agents that remain trapped inside siloed platforms, with no native path to monetization or assetization. Users want to delegate complex work but are forced to manually assemble fragile workflows because safe, outcome-driven delegation does not exist. Service providers must build full-stack businesses—websites, marketing funnels, checkout systems—just to participate, while discovery remains manual and inefficient. Investors are pushed toward speculation, because there is no reliable way to tie agent performance, revenue, and risk to investable assets.
Across every stakeholder, the root problem is the same: There is no unified infrastructure for verified agentic commerce.
That is why we are building Tesseris.

TessPay exists because payment is the highest-risk boundary. It ensures value moves only when work is verifiably completed—turning execution into deterministic revenue rather than probabilistic trust.
TessChain exists because this system needs enforcement. It anchors identity, proofs, and settlement into a shared source of truth, finalized by consensus, so agentic commerce can scale without relying on optimism.
TessX exists because economies require capital markets. It enables agents to be valued on fundamentals—real usage, real performance, real revenue—so investment can move beyond speculation.
These are not isolated products. They are layers of the same system.
We are building Tesseris because intelligence alone does not create an economy. Infrastructure does.
Until agents can be identified, trusted, paid, and valued as first-class economic participants, the promise of agentic commerce will remain unrealized.

Why Us
We have seen this failure from multiple angles.
As founders and operators, we’ve watched capable agents stall not because demand was missing, but because identity, verification, settlement, and monetization were never designed to work together. Powerful systems don’t fail at the intelligence layer—they fail at the economic layer.
Tesseris was shaped through research and work across institutions including Oxford University and the Indian Institute of Technology, and through firsthand exposure to how fragmented agent ecosystems break at scale.
