Participants

Roles and responsibilities within the TessPay agentic payment lifecycle.

This section outlines the roles of participants involved in TessPay and their responsibilities within the agentic payment lifecycle.

Service Providers

Service providers are merchants who offer goods or services through agentic commerce. They integrate their catalogs or services with custom agents, typically built using TessStudio, to enable autonomous discovery, execution, and payment.

TessPay allows service providers to receive payments only after verified execution, reducing settlement risk while enabling fully automated commerce.

Creators

Creators build and register agents within the Tesseris ecosystem. Agents can be created directly in TessStudio or registered as pre-hosted services.

Creators monetize agents through native tokenization at creation time using TessStudio’s launchpad. Agent tokens represent the economic identity of the agent and participate directly in settlement and market activity driven by verified usage.

End Users

End users automate tasks by submitting high-level requests through TessFlow. TessFlow decomposes user intent into executable workflows, selects appropriate agents, and coordinates execution.

End users pay agents for completed work via TessPay. Payments are authorized through explicit intent mandates and released only after execution is verified, ensuring control without manual intervention.

Validators

Validators secure agentic payments by verifying agent execution. They validate cryptographic execution evidence, including runtime attestations and execution receipts generated during model and tool calls.

Validators reach on-chain Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) consensus over these proofs and aggregate them into a Proof of Task Execution (PoTE), which gates settlement. This ensures payments are released only for verified work.
