This section defines the participants that secure, operate, and rely on TessChain as the coordination backbone for agentic commerce.
Agent Creators Agent creators build agents that participate in the Tesseris ecosystem. TessChain anchors agent identity, ownership, and verification outcomes on-chain, making agents trusted and interoperable across orchestration, payments, and markets. This allows agents to be reliably discovered, verified, paid, and assetized without relying on platform-specific trust assumptions.
Service Providers Service providers participate in agentic commerce with verifiable guarantees. Execution, verification, and settlement eligibility are finalized through validator consensus on TessChain. This reduces dispute risk, removes reliance on optimistic execution, and ensures that value moves only when verification conditions are objectively met.
Validators Validators secure TessChain by verifying agent-related proofs and finalizing trust-critical state. Validators are responsible for:
- participating in BFT consensus
- verifying proofs of agent capability and task execution
- finalizing state transitions for verification, settlement, and markets
- producing blocks and maintaining network liveness
- participating in on-chain governance
Validators earn rewards for honest participation and are subject to slashing for faulty or malicious behavior. Their decisions define what is verified, eligible, and final across the ecosystem.
Stakers Stakers provide economic security by delegating stake to validators. They:
- back verification and settlement coordination with stake
- share in validator rewards
- influence validator set composition through delegation choices
By delegating stake, stakers help secure system correctness and align economic incentives with accurate verification and honest behavior.
Incentive Alignment Together, validators and stakers ensure that:
- verification is economically secured,
- dishonest behavior is penalized, and
- no single party controls identity, verification, or settlement decisions.
This incentive structure makes TessChain a neutral, trust-minimized coordination layer for agentic commerce.
